NHFOA Scholarship Program

The NHFOA Scholarship program was established in 2018 at the urging of former NHFOA member Jeff Delois. The program is now known as the Jeff Delois Scholarship to recognize Jeff’s efforts in getting this important program started. The NHFOA Council agreed with Jeff that deserving schools and students should be recognized for good sportsmanship and student dedication.

Every year since 2019 the NHFOA has awarded four $1,000 scholarships to deserving students in New Hampshire. NHFOA Council members travel to the schools that have been selected to receive annual scholarships and sportsmanship awards to make in person presentations to the to the schools and student(s). As of 2023 the NHFOA has awarded $16,000 to New Hampshire students.

Funds are raised to support the program through generous donations from NHFOA members, officiating preseason jamborees for no cost and by the annual NHFOA Golf Tournament held in July. Many people work very hard to assure adequate funding for the scholarships.
